The Windmill Farmer
Far far away in the country, in the middle of lots of bare and green mountains, in a rickety old house, my story was written.
I was plowing spots to grow windmills with a tired expression. I was starting to lag a bit. Finally, I was done. I grabbed out the first windmill seed. I blew it with hope that it would grow well. It spun beautifully. I carefully placed it in the first hole with a caring expression. I cautiously walked back placing another windmill in each hole. Finally, I was at my house. I glazed at the windmills giving them hope and love. I had a strong cup of tea and peacefully went to sleep.
A couple of weeks later I approached the windmills. I grasped my watering can and went down to the far one. I let the water stream down on to the windmill. I repeated it until I got to my hut. I put the watering can down. I turned around and glared at the windmills to find that one of them had slowed down. I brought up all of my might and pushed. It spun rapidly.
A week later I was relaxing with a cup of coffee. Outside there was a tiny pitter patter of rain. Then a flash of light came. Thunder. I heard something chopping. It was a windmill.
I ran outside to find a windmill cutting another windmill. The wind was so strong, even with my hat on tightly, my hat blew off. I jumped up grabbed it and with all my might I pushed the windmill up. I looked at the others. Then one had shred to pieces. I run towards it. Out of nowhere I got hit by a piece of a different windmill. I layed on the ground, crying, watching my windmills get torn to shreds.
Now it was winter. I was still mourning for my loss. There were shards of the windmills deep in the snow. I looked out the window. I thought I saw a shard growing but I was sure my eyes were playing tricks on me.
Spring came. I journeyed outside. My head low. I turn to where the windmills were to mourn. My mouth drops. My eyes wide open. There were windmills everywhere. My body started dancing without my mind not knowing, trying to figure out how it happened. Eventually my mind gave up trying to figure out. It was a miracle.

The Catch
I sat there. Bored out of my mind. I had a tired expression on my face. Then, suddenly, out of the corner of my eye the rod starts to wriggle. I jumped up, grabbed the fishing rod and I pulled and pulled and pulled. Finally, the fish came out of the water. It was tiny. I was so disappointed. I turned my head and look at the village. How could that little fish feed the whole village? Suddenly I heard a scream. I put the fish in my basket and walked towards the noise. It was a fox.
It glowed bright, golden red in the sunlight. It was stuck in a trap. I grabbed my knife. The fox stared at me with his big brown eyes. He was scared of what I would do. I cut the rope. It jumped up. It looked at me with wide, angry eyes. It jumped at me. I fell on the ground, closed my eyes and waited for it to strike. Then it took a sniff. It’s eyes widened and stared into the bush. Then it ran off.
I ran through the bush and found it sitting in front of the basket. I was defenseless. I looked at it with eyes reading don’t please. It took the fish. I stood there, nearly crying, it ran off. I had to do it for the village. I ran around the corner to find it crawling in blackberry bushes with gigantic prickles. I had to be brave. I looked over at the village. I had to do it for them.
I got down on my stomach and started crawling. I was really angry. I got, out jumped up but I fell. My pants were stuck to a vine. I was worried, I couldn’t let it get away. I tugged and tugged until it gave to my pull. I was relieved. I chased it, following the footprints. Then I saw it.
It was leaping up a cliff, I got angrier by the second. Finally, I was 1 jump away from the top. A gust of wind came. My hat flew off my head. I looked down. I couldn’t stuff up now. I look up, I was furious. I jump up, I make it.
I stomped on my ground. The fox turned around to find me raging. It threw the fish away and I heard a splashed. I was puzzled. The fog move away. There was a golden sunset above a gigantic pond. Then a big shadow came. I look up. There was a gigantic fish. I was shocked and baffled.
I came back to the village with a medium sized fish and a gigantic fish, not as big as the one I saw but still big, and the fox. I threw him the smaller fish. I was pleased. I walk to the village. I looked back to catch a glimpse of the fox turning into dust. It’s job was done.

Master Chef Collage
At camp we had made a master chef. Everyone had to cook meals for the judges and their selves.
Congratulations to the Strikers for winning.
Here is a pic collage I made of it.
Masterchef
The part I liked best at camp was Master Chef.
Masterchef was created in the 1990’s by Franc Roddam. It was for the United Kingdom. In the year 2001 they stopped filming it. In 2005 it was revived. Now the competition is in over 40 different countries including China, Turkey and Italy. Occasionally they have special seasons such as Masterchef Junior and Celebrity Masterchef.
On Wednesday one we had our own version of Masterchef so for the whole day we had to cook for ourselves.
We only had these ingredients:
Pancake Mix 3 Potatoes
Instant Pudding 1 Onion
20 Slices Of Bread 1 Egg
12 Cheese Slices 2 Carrots
1 Can Of Spaghetti 1 Box Of Jelly
12 Saveloys 2 Packets Noodles
1 Can Of Pineapple Rings 1 Packet Of Gravy
1 Can Of Peaches Mince
Honey
Our Menu Was:
Breakfast:
Pancakes with pineapple, peaches and honey made into a smiley face.
Lunch:
French toast with noodles and saveloys.
Dinner:
Meatballs with mashed potato and honey glazed carrots.
Dessert:
Pineapple filled jelly with instant pudding.
For breakfast our jobs were:
Jelly: Paige and George
Pancakes: JJ, Milly and I.
Presentation: Paige, Milly and I.
For the presentation we didn’t know what to do. Paige decided to carve out a smiley face but it didn’t look good. I decided to put a peach as a mouth. Milly used honey as hair and paige cut pineapples for eyes and ears.
For lunch our jobs were:
French toast: George and I.
Noodles: Milly.
Saveloys: JJ, Milly and Paige.
Presentation: Milly, Paige and I.
I was worried with the french toast because I have never made it before.
When I had made the mixture I ran outside with the bread and the mixture.
The first one we put on didn’t go well, it got burnt, but after awhile we got the hang of it. When I had the noodles and the french toast on the plate I was wondering why it was taking them so long with the saveloys. When I looked outside I caught them eating them. When I tasted them they were perfect.
For dinner our jobs were.
Potatoes: JJ, Milly and I.
Instant pudding: Milly and I.
Meat balls: George, Milly, JJ and I.
Honey glazed carrots: Me.
I had trouble with the honey glazed carrots because when I used a knife to spread it on it failed because it went everywhere. Then I realized I had spilt some honey on the plate so I just rubbed the carrots in it. When I was done I tried a meatball to see if it was done, it was a bit raw so we put them back. We ended up having a nice dinner. For the scores we came 4th.
Next time I would like to get 10/10 for one thing by not over cooking, under cooking and not putting the wrong things in. I would also like to get into the top 3 groups.
My team did very well. I would like to do this all over again. Hopefully I also get into the actual show. I will keep cooking and improving.
