This desert isn't normal. This is actually a town called Coober Pedy. But where are all the people? Let me show you.
They live underground! This place was first made when people came here to mine they found lots and lots of opal. But in the night the were cooking. So they decided to make homes underground. Lots of visitors came and started living there. There was a guy who had to put an extra stair in his staircase and guess what? He found lots and lots of opal! I hope I can go there soon!
