Reflection for Art, Math and Music

Art

I have learnt the difference between just putting things on a page and making a pattern. .

I have improved in ideas for it because I was lost for ideas and then an amazing one came along

I am proud of my skateboard art because I think I did really well on it and put a lot of effort in it.

I have enjoyed having lessons with Mrs Morton because she taught us lots of different techniques.

Maths

I have learnt more techniques for helping me using a compass.

I have improved my knowledge for techniques in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

I am proud of winning the mathematics competition 2013.

I enjoyed training for the mathematics because some of the questions were sneaky and puzzling.

Music

I have learnt every note on the violin this year.

I have improved in reading notes because if I don’t bring my violin I learn about the notes.

I am proud of performing in class well because every now and then I ask to do it.

I enjoy listening to other people play because I can learn from them.

Painting Using New Techniques

For the last couple of weeks we have been having art lessons from a teacher called Mrs Morton.

We have learnt new techniques of painting. They are smooth and even, shading, tinting, blending, dry brush, glaze wash, outline and impasto. Then we did art using those techniques. My Favorited technique is glaze wash. Here is mine. At the top is the glaze wash. Then dry brush using white. After that is smooth and even. The little mountain is dry brush sing black. Now outline. The rock is tinting.

Pokemon Drawing

These are Pokemon I drew last year.

I had to put allot of hard work into these.

In the top left corner is Ponyta then Bulbasaur, Piplup, Meganium, Haxorus, Leafeon, Oshawott,Cubchoo, Krickatune, Litwick and Meinfoo.

2012

My favorite thing in 2012 is being in room 20! I’m going to miss all the year 6’s.

Blob art

Since I finished early with the Paul Klee cat, I decided to do a blob art. Here it is.

Here are the steps.
Step 1: Make a weird shape the joins up with its self or joins up to the side.
Step 2: Do that to cover up the whole page making sure it doesn't overlap another one.
Step 3: Color it making sure you don't make the same color join.
Step 4: Put black over the lines you have drawn to make the shapes and now you're done.

Paul Klee Cat

Yesterday we made cats by Paul Klee. Here is mine.

Tree Of Pride

For the last couple of days we have been making our own tree of life and renaming it The Tree Of Pride.

On my tree the sun, flower, Fire, moon, water and tornado reflect me liking powers. The pan reflects me liking cooking. The microphone reflects me liking singing. The violin reflects me playing the violin. And the poke ball reflects me liking pokemon.
